HOWEVER I stayed here with my husband in the summer in the sweltering heat and there was no air conditioning. I'm talking 100 degrees with no AC and it was BRUTAL
My advice to anyone staying here during hotter months is to close the curtains tight once the sun comes up. It helps. At night when it's cold open every window and trap in as much cold air as you can for the following day.
The rooms themselves are old yes but they are very large which is nice and they are adequate. Wifi works well nice new TVs and even a DVD player.
Before I begin let me say that the staff and people who work here are wonderful. They are kind and helpful and do whatever they can to make your stay enjoyable.
My family and I enjoyed staying here it's cozy convenient super clean and quiet we made our family summer trip up here went out saw the sights came back to a good place to snuggle up at night definitely plan on returning

They brought me a fan and I kept taking cold showers and not toweling off so as to keep cool and it was completely miserable.
Other places on base are air conditioned such as the commissary gas station and where you can go eat. If you are able to leave the room doing the day at the hottest hours you should.
Comfortable room... converted dorms, nice suite. Definitely time to remodel the bathrooms, they are functional and clean but very worn.
As of the time of this review, the hotel rate is $60 a day, which looking at local hotel prices, is an excellent rate.
Excellent long term rentals, old housing complex with three bedrooms and all the amenities that go along with a house. Highly recommend having a reservation as this place can fill up quickly. They also have a DVD selection to borrow and bikes to ride around the base on.
Overall it's a nice hotel it's a shame that in somewhere like Southern California in the desert no less they don't bother to put air conditioners. I otherwise would have given a 4 or 5 star review.
